To Spark and Inspire

Over and over we hear “Teach by example.” I know as a teacher, I've heard that phrase ever since I was in college. Lately though I have come to the conclusion that we are all here not to necessarily teach, which in my opinion, gears more towards indoctrination and manipulation of the minds, but to inspire others through our actions, thoughts, and lifestyle. More and more I have received the message through my own students, friends, and sometimes perfect strangers.

What began as a game some years ago within a close classroom became the change agent to many of the people around me,  Now I see that my celeb “all we need is love and following our heart” motto, has changed many lives, uplifting and encouraging many souls. That’s been my legacy. That’s the food that feeds my own soul every day.

Today, as you wake up think about the many ways you inspire the people around you and remember that to make a difference much is not necessary but…

1.       To always be yourself
2.       To speak from the heart and with honesty
3.       To be truthful, standing strong for what you believe and feel
4.       To be open and understanding of people’s beliefs and feelings
5.       To show the simplest side of who you are
6.       To have a serving mindset

According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, by definition, teaching means to impart knowledge or a skill. Inspiring on the other side is to fill, to arouse, to influence, and provoke change of feelings or thoughts. We are all born with innate skills and talents just waiting to be re-discover. We don’t need to be taught but inspired to use those talents for the good of all. That is our gift to each other. Live through it and let your life be an amazing spark of daily revelations.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Another great story by Paulo Coehlo. Real life down to earth characters struggling to find the meaning of life; a mirror of what we all go through day by day. The amazing story of Linda makes us ponder and question. What's life's ultimate purpose? What force moves us? What is it that we should all strive for?
