Stop Being a Bottleneck

As humans we have the tendency of always looking for the right answer as the only possible choice. I say, don’t limit yourself to the right answer. Instead, combine them all and explore your creativity. Leave behind your hard thinking style and become a soft thinker. Soft thinkers know how to use metaphors, dreams, humor, play, pleasure, and even hunches to explore and create. They are able to look at the similarities and establish powerful connections.

In times when we are rediscovering our interconnectedness with the world, we are called to break out the patterns, routine, and old habits that have kept us attached to limited thinking. It is time to do things differently and break the rules. Open your mind and visualize your deepest dreams and desires. Imagination could prove to be more important and valuable than knowledge. Play with your emotions and senses and feel free to invent new things and ideas. Be spontaneous and feel the joy of the creative you!

Midnight Voices

It’s amazing what midnight could to do to your thoughts while relaxing and enjoying a warm cup of chai tea. On this hour when you go back and collect all the scenes of what your day has been, silence takes charge to send you hidden messages that would not be heard during the rush of the day. It is then, when all in a sudden your past, present, and future blends and, either you end up crying or smiling at the whole picture you have created; what we call life. Tonight, in between the tea bags still floating inside the cup, these words started swirling in my mind: “In the end it is about learning how to look at everyone you encounter as a teacher, every experience as a lesson, and every feeling as a path to love.” Like the spices and herbs that give life to the tea, this essential truth is what guide our lives and make us real human beings. How something so simple could escape from our understanding?

Sweet April

April comes from “aperire”, which means, to open. This is my month, when I celebrate my own, very personal new year. On this month, open to new beginnings, connect with yourself and others. Feel from within and learn through experience. Drop everything that keeps you attach to old beliefs. Reinvent your life. Make the decision to bloom like precious flowers, always facing the shining sun. Become the diamond that this month symbolizes. Dare to be you, to embark in new adventures, to dream your best dream. Learn how to love yourself the way you are. Appreciate your own inner beauty and that of everything around you. Happy blooming!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Another great story by Paulo Coehlo. Real life down to earth characters struggling to find the meaning of life; a mirror of what we all go through day by day. The amazing story of Linda makes us ponder and question. What's life's ultimate purpose? What force moves us? What is it that we should all strive for?
