Spreading Our Wings

There’s always something magical when traveling abroad. It is in the air, the languages heard; the expression of the people surrounding us. It is that something telling us that we are not alone and differences are mere illusion. That was my recent experience in Germany, a country still so misunderstood by many, a country still carrying the burden of an infamous history.

Truth is that Germany is just another wonderful country with people eager to share their lives, joys, and pains. Everything from its clean streets to impeccable markets, exquisite food, and joyful events represent their pride and very unique way to see life. To the foreigner, a mind opening experience that appeals to all the senses.

There is no better way to know, respect, and appreciate thy neighbor than by getting close to him as part of his own world. Only then we will be able to spread our wings and become a big nation of one.

Another great story by Paulo Coehlo. Real life down to earth characters struggling to find the meaning of life; a mirror of what we all go through day by day. The amazing story of Linda makes us ponder and question. What's life's ultimate purpose? What force moves us? What is it that we should all strive for?
